Who Does Business Trust?

According to Fortune, which company does business admire most? Even among this select group there is a clear leader: For the third straight year Apple takes the No. 1 spot - this time by the highest margin ever, according to Hay Group, the management consulting firm that collaborates with Fortune on the list. Indeed, in 2009, 51% of corporate leaders surveyed said they admired Apple, an unprecedented majority.

Apple Ranks Third in Customer Service Survey

Even if we can all agree that we hate hold times and the awful choice in music, customer service is one of those incredibly subjective experiences. When it comes to Apple we hear from people who swear by it just as much as people who swear at it. From a more objective standpoint, though, it seems that Apple has done a pretty good job of serving its customers as needed, having nabbed the number three spot in BusinessWeek’s annual customer service survey.

Adobe CS5

Some major changes are planned for the Mac version of Adobe's Creative Suite 5, say sources claimed to be familiar with the pre-release software. Of these the most important may be in Photoshop CS5, which will finally make the switch to 64-bit code. The technology had been planned to go into CS4, and indeed Windows users have been operating in 64-bit mode for some time. The earlier Mac code was rooted in 32-bit Carbon architecture however, requiring an overhaul for the more modern Cocoa standard.

Avoid Trouble When Moving Your iTunes Library

As your iTunes Library continues to grow, the time may come when it outgrows the available space left on your hard drive. When that happens, a common solution is to move your library to another (larger or more empty) drive. Doing this is not difficult. However, as iTunes has a number of similar-sounding options and installs a number of similar-sounding iTunes-related files on your drive, it may not be self-evident how to go about moving your music library. What makes the task potentially treacherous is that a wrong move can leave your music files in a state where iTunes is no longer able to find or play them. Here’s how to avoid this.
